PrayerAbout God
Following man’s fall into sin, God sent his only begotten Son (Jesus) to die for our sins.
About Jesus
Jesus Christ is the prophesized Messiah of the Old Testament and is only begotten Son of God the Father.
Jesus Christ came to earth and humbled himself to live as humans and ultimately, to die on a cross for the forgiveness of our sins.
Jesus Christ is the one true way to eternal salvation, and belief and trust in Him as your lord and savior secures your eternal salvation.
About Salvation
Eternal salvation is received simply through belief in Jesus Christ as your personal lord and savior.
The Bible clearly states the path to salvation is through Jesus Christ, and Him alone.
About You
You were created on purpose, and for a purpose by God the father. He has known His will for you from well before you were ever born into this world.
We believe you were ultimately created to love God, love people and to serve our community & world.
About the Bible
The Christian Bible is the written word of God the Father, authored by humans, but divinely inspired by God.
Broken up into 66 separate ‘books,’ the Bible is inerrant, authoritative and complete word of God.
Our Path So Far
Believe it, or not there are 350+ churches in Delaware County! When founding Senior Pastor, Michael Hewitt considered the thought of starting a church in Muncie he said, “Starting another church in this county and in Muncie doesn’t make sense. Starting “another” church sounds boring. What people need is a place to find family. A place to belong to. A place where hope, new beginnings, and healing can take place. Let me start a movement of people where this can happen and find new life!
As a result, Pastor Michael moved his family from Michigan to start Rising Hope. In the Fall of 2019, four months before Covid hit, Rising Hope celebrated their Grand Opening. Two-hundred and forty-two people showed up that day and since then, Rising Hope has never looked back!
Each week we look forward to living out the mission that Christ gave us. Rising Hope desires a place where we can be a family that represents the same diversity in Heaven as we become more like Christ; reflecting His character and priorities every day.
