Kids Connection is where all children from any background or ability can find connection to God’s family; to be loved exactly where they are and encouraged to grow in their relationship with Jesus and others. Each week is packed with fun, great Bible lessons and relationship building. Each volunteer is ready to serve and love your child just as Jesus would!

What to Expect on Your First Visit
We want your child to know they are loved by God and have a role in his kingdom, even now. Each week, we dive deep to understand God’s word, teach ways to deepen their faith and explore how to connect with the other generations in our church.
Check-In
Head to the Kids Check-in Desk down the long hallway. A friendly volunteer can help you get your kiddos checked-in.You will receive two tags... One for you (pick-up tag) and one for your child.
Bible Lesson & Worship
Kids jump into their service with upbeat worship music and a Bible story that sets up the day's lesson.Cool Crafts & Activities
Your kids will take part on fun, engaging, and age-appropriate activities to drive home the day's lesson.Pick-up

Kids Church FAQs
How do I check in my child?
Visit the Kids check‑in desk in the lobby before service. If it’s your first time, we’ll collect basic info, enter allergy/medical notes, and print matching tags for your child and for you.
What if I loose my parent tag?
Please see a volunteer wearing a Kids Connection shirt. You will be asked you to present your I.D. Our team will create a new tag for you
after confirming you are on the approved pick-up list.
What if my child needs me during service?
We’ll text you using the phone number provided at check‑in. Please keep your phone available and on vibrate during the service.
Are snacks provided? What about allergies?
Occasionally, simple snacks may be served in Preschool/Elementary. Allergy and medical notes from check‑in are displayed to leaders, and alternative options are available when needed.
Are volunteers background checked?
Yes. Every Kids Ministry volunteer completes an application, interview, reference check, and a national background check. We also provide ongoing training and clear safety policies.
Can my child stay with me in the main service?
Absolutely. You’re welcome to keep your child with you in the main auditorium at any time. Our Kids spaces are available whenever you and your child are ready.
What curriculum do you use?
We teach the Bible through engaging, age‑appropriate lessons that combine storytelling, discussion, and activities designed to help kids remember and live out what they learn.
What if my child has special needs?
At Rising Hope we feel strongly that every child is made in the image of God and has the ability to contribute to our church in a place where we can be a family of diversity that reflects a picture of heaven. Our Children’s Pastor, with almost 20 years experience working with those with disabilities, would love to partner with you as parents to make Kids Connection the best possible experience for your child.
In addition to our current buddy system, we are looking forward to growing our program with CLC Network training, and various other resources.

Family Sundays
On every fifth Sunday, Kids Connection will be closed to provide families the opportunity to experience worship together in the main service. Expect a great, multi-generational time of worship and teaching.
